NorthWind Partners Hires Steven Baumruk as Managing Director, Private Equity
RESTON, VA, April 4, 2016 — NorthWind Partners has added Steven Baumruk as a Managing Director in the Reston office. He will support NorthWind’s growing Private Equity practice.
Steven brings over 12 years of retained executive search and management advisory experience to NorthWind Partners. He is deeply versed in the US Private Equity markets and has a strong track record of helping clients attract and develop top performing management teams across their investment platforms.

Prior to joining NorthWind, Steven led PE-backed executive search engagements for a New York-based retained search firm. Previously, he managed the leadership strategy group at a large, distress-oriented Private Equity firm, where he successfully recruited high-performance leadership teams into a diverse group of over 45 portfolio companies.
Steven holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Olin School of Business at Babson College and a BA degree from Clark University. Prior to obtaining his MBA, Steven was an associate at Heidrick & Struggles, responsible for executing a broad spectrum of searches across the alternative investment space. He is an active member of the New York chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is fluent in both English and German.
