Nil Loy Appointed as General Counsel, Vital Strategies

(Dec. 2020) Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Nil Loy as General Counsel at Vital Strategies.
Vital Strategies is a leading global public health organization and a trusted partner of governments and civil society organizations around the world. The organization helps governments acquire the knowledge and tools they need to make rapid progress against cancer, heart disease, obesity, epidemic diseases, drug overdose, road crashes, and other leading causes of disease, injury and death.

Ms. Loy comes to Vital Strategies from Abt Associates Inc., a mission-driven company focused on using evidence and cutting-edge methods to improve the lives and economic well-being of people worldwide. In her most recent role Ms. Loy supervised global legal affairs with operations in more than 60 countries. Previously, she was senior corporate counsel at Verisign, Inc. Prior to her corporate roles, Ms. Loy was in legal practice with Sidley Austin LLP and with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.

Ms. Loy holds a Bachelor of Arts, with Honors, and a Juris Doctor, with Honors, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She joins Vital Strategies this month and will collaborate closely with partners throughout the organization from Finance, Accounting & Grants to Policy, Advocacy & Communications, Human Resources, and Global Operations—all at a critical point in time as Vital Strategies readies for the challenges of 2021, including a continued pandemic.
