Mike Rogers Appointed as Chief Development Officer for Democracy Works

June 2019 – Bridge Partners is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Rogers as Chief Development Officer for Democracy Works.

Democracy Works (https://www.democracy.works/) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization with a vision to make voting a simple, seamless experience for all Americans, so that no one misses an election.

In his new role as Chief Development Officer, Mike will build a best-in-class fundraising strategy, including communication of the organization’s impact and vision for improving democracy, organizing of existing supporters into active volunteers, and the creation of a development team.

He joins Democracy Works from GMHC, where he was SVP Development, leading and executing key philanthropic programs, and implementing a diverse portfolio offundraising strategies. Mike brings many years of development experience, including serving as Chief Development Officer at Keep America Beautiful, where he led a team of national fundraisers to provide the organization’s revenue through corporate, individual, and foundation channels. He began his development career at his alma mater, the University of Dayton, and served in a number of roles at the American Cancer Society (ACS) and American Red Cross.
