Mellissia Zanjani Appointed as Vice President for Institutional Advancement & Executive Director for the College Foundation oat Community College of Philadelphia

(June 2020) Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Mellissia Zanjani as Vice President for Institutional Advancement & Executive Director of the College Foundation at Community College of Philadelphia.

Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) is an open admission, associate’s degree-granting institution which provides access to higher education for all who may benefit. As the only community college and the largest public institution of higher education in Philadelphia the College offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs in healthcare, science, business technology and the liberal arts. Since 1964, the College has served over 700,000 students providing higher education leading to transfer, careers, and ongoing professional development.

Mellissia Zanjani joins Community College of Philadelphia from Lincoln University, where she was the Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Previously, she served as Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Mellissa holds a Ph.D. in Adult Higher Education from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from Towson University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Psychology from Chatham University.

Mellissia brings to the role deep experience in higher education and nonprofit experience in external relations, fundraising, communications, and strategic planning. As Vice President for Institutional Advancement & Executive Director of the College Foundation, she will provide leadership for increasing the level of external resources from public and private sources to support the programmatic, capital needs and aspirations of the College.
