MCEDC Announces Jorgenson Consulting to Lead Search for New President and CEO

ROCKVILLE, MD, June 24, 2019 — The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) announced the selection of Jorgensen Consulting, a national executive search firm specializing in non-profit, economic and community development organizations, to lead the search for MCEDC’s next CEO. Todd Jorgenson, managing director and principal of Jorgenson Consulting, will oversee the search.

Brief description of the leadership position: The President and CEO is a dynamic, high-energy executive who is focused on working in collaboration with private and public sector stakeholders to realize a vision that enables Montgomery County, Maryland, to achieve its economic growth objectives. MCEDC seeks a leader who is passionate about driving sustainable job growth and aggressively pursuing the creation of effective partnerships and relationships throughout the County and the region.

The Search Committee met with Mr. Jorgenson on June 10 – 11 and will further develop an opportunity profile that will outline the experience and leadership characteristics of the desired candidate.
