Mark Anthony Brewing has appointed Stacey Karczewski as Vice President, People Operations – Manufacturing. Hanold Associates’ Katrina Prospero and Mayank Parikh led the search for this Chicago-based role. The Mark Anthony Group of Companies, maker of popular alcoholic beverages like White Claw Hard Seltzer, Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Cayman Jack Margarita’s, has brought Stacey on to help build and create the Mark Anthony Brewing division. This new division will have overall responsibility for their expanding capability to manufacture their product in-house, which allows the company to be better positioned in response to the rapid growth of their innovative products like White Claw. “Stacey is joining the Mark Anthony team bringing a background rich with transformational experience,” said Katrina Prospero, Hanold Partner. “Her extensive knowledge of the industry and collaborative leadership style will be vital in the expansion and development of Mark Anthony Brewing.” Stacey Karczewski comes to Mark Anthony from Conn-Selmer, Inc. and Diageo North America, Inc. where she held various HR leadership positions, progressing in tenure. Her role will have responsibility to develop and structure a proactive, responsive, and effective people team that supports the growing manufacturing organization and partnering closely with the President, John Sacksteder. The Big Ten Conference has appointed Omar Brown as Chief People & Culture Officer. Hanold Associates’ Jason Hanold and Lisa Butkus led the search for this Chicago area-based role.

He was the first candidate introduced and immediately achieved natural alignment with Kevin and the broader Big Ten leadership team.”

Omar Brown comes to Big Ten from Deloitte where, as a member of the Organization Transformation practice, he led organizational change and improvement for client companies. He will oversee all aspects of the people function and human capital aspects of the organization. Reporting directly to the Commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, Kevin Warren, Omar will partner on all people and culture strategies, shaping the broader organization to be more agile and efficient as it evolves. This key leadership role will have a profound impact on the cornerstone goals of Big Ten: empowering athletes, winning the hearts of fans, creating a stable financial position and building relationships with Big Ten constituents.

Big Ten is a national leader in intercollegiate athletics, on and off the field. The conference has a history of more than 125 years. Big Ten programs have combined to win more than 450 team and 1800 individual national championships.
