LHH Knightsbridge Expands Search Practice, Adds Four Executive Search Partners

Stephen Hime, Laura Machan, Nicholas Protti and Jane van Alphen will add extensive expertise.

TORONTO – [August 29, 2024] – LHH Knightsbridge, an executive search and recruitment subsidiary of LHH, is pleased to announce that Stephen Hime, Laura Machan, Nicholas Protti and Jane van Alphen have joined the Executive Search practice. With decades of experience in recruiting mid-level through C-Suite talent, these four partners bring extensive expertise in talent acquisition and optimization across a number of sectors, including engineering, energy, manufacturing, financial services and healthcare.

With over 25 years of experience providing senior-level search and recruitment services to client organizations in various industries throughout Canada and the US, Hime’s consultative and relationship-oriented approach is key to understanding each client’s unique needs for talent acquisition. He has an extensive background in senior leadership, management, and niche technical roles across many business functions and in a variety of domains with particular interest and experience in engineering, manufacturing, and power and energy. His search methodology and approach allow him to quickly adapt to specific industries and markets.

Machan brings over 25 years of experience in recruitment and human resource management, specializing in executive search and taking on assignments for executive leaders and senior technical professionals. Her ability to get to the heart of the talent gap with diplomacy, urgency and compassion have been crucial in her success throughout her career.

Protti brings 20 years of experience in executive search, sales and business development roles across public and private sectors in the North America and Asia Pacific regions. He specializes in collaborating closely with clients to gain a deep understanding of culture and strategy to attract exceptional talent, allowing him to form long-term partnerships. Protti work across a wide variety of industries, including financial services, real estate, industrial and professional services.

Van Alphen comes from a strong background of bringing senior leadership and teams together to execute ongoing and new initiatives across the healthcare and nursing sectors. She is especially well-versed in leading teams through complex transformations, bringing a diverse network and skillset with a deep understanding of how to cement sustainable, long-lasting and effective systems.
