Leathwaite Expands Global Corporate and Transaction Banking Search and Consulting Services

LONDON, April 7, 2016 — Leathwaite, the global executive search and management consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Garnet Harrison to lead the company’s expansion within corporate and transaction banking throughout global markets

Harrison, formerly of Heidrick and Struggles, has eleven years’ experience providing leadership advisory to boards throughout the Asia Pacific region:

“Having lived and worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Moscow, London and Sydney, I have developed an acute understanding of the cultural differences that exist between different economies and the human capital challenges that drive these markets.

My intention is to leverage my relationships within investment banks, sovereign wealth funds, regulators and corporate banks in order to help expand Leathwaite’s presence within corporate and transaction banking, and the FinTech industry.”

Harrison will focus on senior-level assignments within asset servicing, equity financing, clearing, custody, cash management, trade and structured trade finance.

James Rust, partner at Leathwaite added: “We are extremely pleased to have brought someone of Garnet’s calibre on-board.  His experience within corporate and transaction banking will undoubtedly add a natural extension to the Leathwaite offering, enabling us to deliver an even more complete range of services to our clients.”
