Leading Asset Management Consultant Joins Bay Street Advisors

NEW YORK, March 4, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Bay Street Advisors, a leading advisory and executive recruiting firm specializing in financial services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Muller as Partner and Head of the Asset Management Practice.  With the addition of Patricia, Bay Street Advisors will further expand its coverage across the full spectrum of financial services, including Alternative and Traditional Asset Management, Global Markets and Investment Banking. She will serve on the firm’s Executive Committee and lead the firm’s diversity efforts based on her track record, which has one of the highest diversity success rates in the industry.

Furthermore, as many traditional asset managers look for new areas of growth, Patricia will continue to serve the industry as a trusted advisor, leveraging Bay Street Advisors’ unparalleled track record and relationships in both the Alternative Asset Management and Private Markets, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure and Real Assets, to assist her clients in exploring entirely new markets.

Patricia brings more than twenty years of experience in the asset management and financial services industry, having started her career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in research. She then became a journalist and Financials Reporter at Institutional Investor Inc. where her role expanded to that of Managing Editor, Executive Editor and Deputy Editor. She managed over 100 reporters and editors globally and helped launch new businesses. Earlier in her career, Patricia served as Chief Operating Officer of Warren International, an asset management executive search boutique. She was responsible for expanding the firm and running finance, legal, administration, and research and participated in client services, marketing, recruitment, strategic initiatives and launching new ventures.

Most recently, she was a co-founder of Westwood Distributors LLC and later became a Partner in the Asset Management Practice at Westwood Partners LLC, specializing in senior-level recruiting and advising across the full spectrum of Asset Management. Patricia has vast expertise across all aspects of asset management, including quantitative and data science mandates, as well as executing team lift-outs, buildouts and acquisitions. Patricia earned both an MBA in International Business with a focus on Emerging Markets and a BA in Political Science from Hofstra University.
