The Lancer Group places Hank Chen as Director of Bulger Partners

BOSTON, MA, September 5, 2017  – The Lancer Group places Hank Chen as Director at Bulger Partners, a leading provider of strategy consulting and investment banking to companies and investors in the Software Industry. He will be joining the firm’s Strategy Consulting group.

Hank brings to Bulger Partners over 15 years of experience helping tech companies grow and scale profitably by leveraging his deep operating and functional expertise across corporate strategy, product/program management, pricing, sales enablement, operations, and R&D. In this new role, he will be primarily focused on commercial diligence and value creation engagements for software companies and their investors.

Most recently, Hank served as Vice President of Product Management of SimpliVity Corporation, a venture-backed enterprise IT startup acquired by HPE, where he led company-wide portfolio planning and product roadmap efforts which resulted in the firm scaling to triple digit annual run-rate revenue. Prior to joining SimpliVity, Hank was the Head of Business Operations in the data protection business unit of EMC Corporation, where he oversaw a $4B portfolio.

He holds an MBA in Business Administration and General Management from MIT and M.Eng. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
