Kevin Chase Executive Search Group Selected to Lead National Search for UCHAPS E.D.

LOS ANGELES, CA, February 1, 2017 — UCHAPS, the Urban Coalition for HIV/AIDS Prevention Services, has selected Kevin Chase Executive Search Group to lead the national search for its new Executive Director. UCHAPS is a national collaboration of local health departments and on-the-ground community partners from major urban centers around the country.  Since the beginning of the epidemic, these urban areas have faced a disproportionate level of infections and continue to serve the most marginalized populations. 

The new E.D. will lead the organization from Washington, D.C. in order to maximize UCHAPS’ effectiveness in bringing national attention and funding to the treatment, prevention, and policy priorities of UCHAPS and its member jurisdictions.  

“We are honored to partner with the UCHAPS Board on this assignment. The search comes at a critical point in the organization’s evolution and at a very complex time and funding environment in the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS,” said Managing Partner Kevin Chase who will lead the search. “The fight is far from over the front lines of it are in the urban areas UCHAPS was established to serve.”
