NEW YORK, N.Y., November 2017 – Bridge Partners is excited to share the appointment John Hecklinger as Chief Executive Officer at Global Fund For Children (GFC).

Prior to joining GFC (www.globalfundforchildren.org), John served as Chief Network Officer for Global Giving. There he established partnerships to drive the organization’s growth as a globally- networked organization.

Before taking on that role, John was GlobalGiving’s Chief Program Officer, leading the group that identifies effective nonprofits around the world and helps them make the most of GlobalGiving’s support and services. John originally joined GlobalGiving in October of 2005 and led corporate partnership efforts as Business Development Director, following a career in the private sector leading partnership efforts at CARFAX Vehicle History Reports.

After receiving English degrees from the University of Virginia and the University of Florida, John served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bangui, Central African Republic.
