The CIO is the principal advisor to the NETL Executive Director on improving NETL’s business processes, strategic planning and IT support functions. S/he oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of NETL’s cybersecurity strategy and is responsible for the management of all technology operations and IT personnel. The CIO will assess technology readiness levels of all projects in the Lab’s research portfolio and develop a strategic plan that establishes a path forward for successful technology maturation and consistency.
