JDG Completes Director of Membership Search for AACC

ROCKVILLE, MD, January 4, 2017 — JDG Associates and the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) are pleased to announce the selection of Melanie Gibson as AACC’s Director of Membership Development.

In this role, Ms. Gibson will develop new domestic and international membership markets and implement campaigns to expand AACC’s member base of laboratory professionals. She will oversee department operations and continue the expansion of member programs and services. She brings more than 15 years of experience leading all aspects of membership from operations to recruiting.

Ms. Gibson joins AACC from the National Organization for Rare Disorders where she served as Director of Membership, successfully expanding member programming and partnerships with health care organizations, the FDA, NIH, pharmaceutical companies and international affiliates. She has also led the membership function for the National Association of Health Underwriters and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

She holds an MA in Counseling from Marshall University and a BA in Psychology from West Virginia State College.
