JDG completes Director of Economics search for AVMA

ROCKVILLE, MD, April 8, 2018 – JDG and the American Veterinary Medical Association, based in Schaumburg, IL, are pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Matthew Salois as their new Director of Economics.

He is an innovative economist and business leader with a passion for applying his skills in economics, statistics and communications to enhance the animal health and veterinary profession.

Prior to joining AVMA, he served as the Director, Global Scientific Affairs and Policy for Elanco Animal Health.  He also served as the Chief Economist and Director of Market Research for the Florida Department of Citrus.  He has a Ph.D. in Food & Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
