IMD International Search Group meets at Annual General Meeting in Barcelona

Zurich, Switzerland (June 1st, 2022) – IMD International Search Group members gathered again after two long years of not seeing each other apart from virtual meetings online. Participants were happy to meet in Barcelona, Spain, on April 7-9.

The meeting was very well organized and prepared by our host, Robert Allen, IMD member in Spain. Robert Allen was founded in 1989 and has offices in Madrid and Barcelona. The team is composed of 4 Managing Partners, all with CEO or MD experience in different sectors, and a team of Researchers and Business Analysts. The client portfolio includes national and international clients, in a wide range of industry sectors: Industrial, automotive, FMCG, retail, financial services, construction, etc. with a high percentage of repeat business. They have been part of the IMD global team since 2018.

The meeting was the opportunity to cover many aspects of our local experience of these troubled times: How each firm has coped with covid and its consequences businesswise, the lessons we took and solutions we found. Participants also identified global trends in the market changes and discussed how we could collectively respond. The meeting was additionally the kick off of several projects that will get us busy all through this year.

Being the official Annual General Meeting of our Association, IMD members proceeded to the vote of important motions, among which the election of our new Vice President, Financial and Legal Affairs, Simona Cremascoli.
Present at the IMD Board since 2019 as Director, Simona Cremascoli, who is Senior Partner at Carter & Benson, IMD Italy, has accepted the essential and difficult task of being the successor of our long-time VP Finance, Dr. Peter Sutter, and we all thank her for that!
Peter Sutter is thankfully staying with us for another year as an Advisor to ensure a smooth transition.
