Following an extensive national search that included a highly competitive candidate pool from across the country, we are pleased to announce the recruitment of Christina McGee as Vice President of Human Resources at Johnson County Community College (JCCC) in Overland Park, KS.
Christina most recently served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC), a role she held since 2017, where as part of the President’s Cabinet she was responsible for leading all HR strategy, compliance, talent development, compensation and benefits, HR systems, employee relations, labor relations, change management, Title IX, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Prior to KCKCC, Christina served as the Director of Employee Relations at Metropolitan Community College – Kansas City (MCC), where she played a pivotal role in enhancing the overall employee work experience. Her responsibilities included championing organizational learning and development programs and guiding supervisors and administrators on employee relations matters.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State University. Her credentials include being a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Additionally, she actively participates in professional associations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Colleges and Universities for HR (CUPA-HR).
