Hanold Associates Recruits Chief HR Officer for Paul Allen’s Vulcan Inc.

CHICAGO, IL, May 26, 2017 — Hanold Associates recruited Tim Mulligan as Chief Human Resources Officer for Vulcan Inc. which is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Vulcan Inc. is a nimble private company working to solve some of the biggest global issues. The projects and investments they pursue are inspired by the ideas of their founder Paul G. Allen and tethered to a simple principle: use data to inform efforts and seek out opportunities that can make a positive impact—and share what is learned. Vulcan supports innovative approaches that can save endangered species, address climate change, improve ocean health, explore new frontiers, research how the human brain works and build sustainable communities. Entities within Vulcan range from the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trailblazers to the Allen Institute for Brain Science.

Mr. Mulligan reports to Chief Executive Officer, Bill Hilf. Mr. Mulligan leads a strong team of talented HR professionals and will build and implement strategies that support Vulcan’s ambitious and exciting projects. His focus is on the strategy behind design and implementation of best-in-class systems and solutions that are flexible enough to adapt with the rapidly evolving philanthropic, media, science, technology and commercial efforts of Vulcan.
