Form Energy Retains Hanold Associates for VP, People Operations Search

CHICAGO (Feb. 2, 2021) ― Form Energy, an innovative developer of long-duration energy storage technology, has retained Hanold Associates for its Vice President, People Operations search. Katrina Prospero and Sandra Peña are leading this search based in either the San Francisco Bay or Boston areas.

With a goal to triple in size over the next several years, Form Energy will require the best, most talented people in the world. The VP, People Operations, will partner on this aggressive growth agenda and be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to CEO Mateo Jaramillo, a former Tesla executive, this leader will build the human resources function and develop the enterprise-wide human capital strategy. The VP, People Operations will also build a top-tier talent acquisition function that can bring in the best possible talent, which will be critical to the early success of this growing, mission-driven company.

Form Energy is enabling the future of the electric grid by developing a new type of battery that can cost-effectively store energy for multiple days. This technology could eventually allow for the creation of a 100% renewable, reliable, carbon-free grid. The company has also created Formware, a next-generation software to help energy planners model their grids.

The company is headquartered outside of Boston in Somerville, Massachusetts and has a growing presence in the Bay Area of California. To date, Form Energy has received $125 million in funding across three funding rounds from top-tier investors Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Capricorn, Coatue and others, and has a total headcount of about 75 employees.
