FGP Expands Columbia Services, Staff

GREENVILLE, S.C., December 3, 2018 – FGP, Find Great People has expanded its Columbia, South Carolina office, adding business development and talent acquisition consultants, to broaden the company’s executive search, direct hire and staffing services in the Midlands region.

FGP presently serves 175 clients in the Midlands, with year-to-date placements in 2018 showing a 112% increase compared with 2017. Placements include temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire. To help support the company’s continuing regional growth, FGP has added Randy Davis, Melanie Hudson, Becca Garvin, and Whitney Buchanan to the team.

Davis is responsible for business development, working with companies to find solutions to organizational challenges, hiring and managing talent. Davis has experience in a variety of practice areas, having held positions in the financial, manufacturing and wholesale sectors. A former U.S. Marine Corps officer, he also brings expertise in aviation, supply chain and logistics, and knowledge of both private and government work environments.

Hudson previously worked at FGP for 10 years and has returned to lead the accounting and finance practice area in the Midlands. With more than 15 years of experience in business development, talent acquisition and training, Hudson specializes in identifying top talent for positions in a variety of industries, including chief financial officers, senior accountants and financial planning and analysis managers.

Garvin has relocated to FGP’s Columbia office as an executive search consultant, specializing in recruiting and placement of HR and manufacturing professionals. Her recruiting experience includes general and specialized roles in numerous industries and companies of all sizes. Garvin relocated to Columbia from FGP headquarters in Greenville, S.C., where she was recognized with the company’s “Rising Star” award in 2014.

Buchanan is responsible for business development, specifically with FGP’s technology team in Columbia. She has worked in the staffing industry for seven years, specifically within technology recruiting, accounting and finance, and business development. Her knowledge of recruiting and business development will be key in helping FGP continue to expand its technology reach in the Midlands.
