Diversified Search Places Quaker Chemical Vice President, CFO & Treasurer

PHILADELPHIA, February 2, 2016 — Diversified Search (Diversified), one of the nation’s top ten executive search firms, has announced the recruitment of Mary Dean Hall as Quaker Chemical’s new Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. This placement followed a national search that focused upon finding premier financial talent from global, publicly traded industrial and manufacturing organizations with an emphasis on treasury and global financial management experience. The search was led by Diversified Search Managing Director and leader of their Financial Officers Center for Excellence, James Langston, CPA.

Dean was previously Vice President and Treasurer at Eastman Chemical Company, a $10 billion global manufacturer of advanced material, specialty chemicals, plastics and fibers, where she held a number of other posts during her twenty year career there.  She is an accomplished financial leader with an MBA from UCLA who began her corporate finance career at Citibank.  She has extensive experience in multiple financial disciplines, including treasury and banking, accounting, international corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, internal controls and compliance, and risk management.

Quaker Chemical has enjoyed strong global financial growth over the past 10 years and the stock has more than doubled since 2012. According to Langston, “Our client was focused on finding a seasoned and accomplished financial professional who could define and lead a 21st century finance operation, while providing solid strategic input and guidance as part of a cohesive executive management team.” Dean joined Quaker in the 4th quarter 2015 and relocated to the Philadelphia area from her home in Kingsport, TN.
