Diverse & Pioneering – Alta Associates Names Pam Stenson Chief Resiliency Officer

FLEMINGTON, N.J., March 19, 2018 – Alta Associates announced today the hiring of Pam Stenson in the newly formed role of Chief Resiliency Officer. Alta, known as the most prominent executive search firm specializing in Cybersecurity and IT Risk, will utilize Pam’s wealth of executive-level experience with CIOs to broaden their trusted network and recruiting capabilities in the technology arena.

Alta has been placing CISOs and the teams that support them for decades. In her new position, Pam will be responsible for playing the role of ‘connector’ between the CIO and CISO communities to further strengthen and align their security and technology capabilities. She will be based out of the Alta Headquarters outside of New York City as well as her office in Boston, MA.

Pam brings over 25 years of executive technology experience with 8 of those years as the SVP/President of IDG’s CIO Executive Council where she led the organization through massive growth as the largest and longest-standing CIO membership organization. Here, she nurtured and created relationships with the worlds most inspiring CIOs while creating a platform of progress and diversity for the CIO role.
