Debra Sotelo Appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Results For Development

July 2019 – Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Debra Sotelo as Chief Financial Officer at Results for Development (R4D).

R4D ( www.r4d.org) is an international nonprofit, founded in 2008, that collaborates with change agents around the world – government officials, civil society leaders and social innovators – to create strong systems that support healthy, educated people. The organization has grown rapidly during its first decade, with a diverse set of programs in global health, education, and nutrition and funders that include USAID, bilateral donors, multilateral development institutions, and foundations.

As the Chief Financial Officer, Debra is a member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for leading and overseeing all financial integrity and strategy. As a true thought partner and problem solver, she will work alongside leadership peers, proactively formulating creative solutions to complex finance-related challenges and opportunities that align with the organization’s programmatic priorities, mission and core values.

Debra comes to R4D from CDRF, where she spent just over 10 years, most recently as Chief Financial Officer. She was previously with Population Services International for several years and held a number of earlier career accounting positions. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Strayer University and is a licensed CPA.
