Cupertino Electric, Electrical Engineering and Construction Leader, Hires Estrella Parker as Chief People Officer

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI), a 67-year-old electrical engineering and construction company that delivers power and possibilities for commercial clients across the U.S.,has appointed Estrella Parker as Chief People Officer (CPO). Cupertino Electric partnered with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.

As CPO, Parker will drive and elevate talent management strategies across the organization, including total rewards programs, talent and recruiting, performance management, learning and development and human resources (HR) operations. She will also serve as a culture steward to help define CEI’s employee value proposition and connect with employees. Parker will report to President and CEO Tom Schott, and be an essential advisor to CEI’s executive team as the $1.4B company continues to grow.

Parker joins CEI from Satellite Healthcare, where she served five years as Chief Human Resources Officer reinventing its HR organization and people practices. Previously, she held various HR executive roles at The Clorox Company for 10 years, including Senior Director HR Global Business Partnership, and Senior Director HR Global Solutions and Workforce Services. Earlier in her HR career, Parker worked at companies like Kaiser Permanente, The Prudential Insurance Co., and Gemini Consulting Co. Parker holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines where she graduated cum laude.
