CMF Announces New Hires

PHILADELPHIA, January 21, 2016 — CMF Associates, private equity’s preferred operating partner for finance and financial leadership, today announced that three professionals have joined the firm. Jeffrey Fields, CPA and Michael Feczko have joined as directors, and Christopher Sihelnik has joined as a senior associate in our consulting division serving middle market private equity.

Jeffrey Fields

Jeff joins CMF as a director and will serve on consulting engagements in areas such as, carve outs, post transaction integration, process and reporting enhancements and interim CFO services for private equity-backed companies. Jeff has experience across a variety of industries with particular expertise in healthcare. Jeff is based in Birmingham, AL, further expanding CMF’s ability to serve private equity funds in the Southeast and nationally. Prior to joining CMF, Jeff served as a vice president and corporate controller at Surgical Care Affiliates, a private equity-backed company that was ultimately taken public in 2013 where he lead all aspects of the accounting, SEC Reporting, tax and treasury departments and lead the company through a successful IPO in 2013. Before joining SCA in 2011, Jeff was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served manufacturing, distribution, service and healthcare companies, such as Avocent Corporation and HealthSouth Corporation. Jeff holds a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from University of Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Alabama.

Michael Feczko

Mike joins CMF as a director and will serve on consulting engagements in areas such as financial analysis, technology development & integration and process improvement for private equity-backed companies. Mike brings his process, technology, and best practices experience to CMF’s middle market private equity-backed client base. Mike is based in Pittsburgh, PA, further expanding CMF’s ability to serve private equity funds in the Midwest and nationally. Mike started his career at Arthur Andersen and most recently served as a consulting manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory team, providing IT strategy and operations services to his clients across a variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, retail, real estate, and technology. With over 15 years of IT and practical business experience, Mike is able to assist clients in aligning the capabilities and priorities of IT with the goals and strategy of the business efficiently and effectively. Mike holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Computer Applications from University of Notre Dame.

Christopher Sihelnik

Chris joins CMF as a senior associate on the consulting team. Chris brings additional data mining and analysis skills to CMF where his skills will be utilized in preparation for sale, forensic, and reporting/visibility situations. Chris is based in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining the CMF team, Chris was an associate consultant at Chess Consulting, where he provided forensic litigation support as well as complex accounting analysis in support of legal and related areas of dispute resolution. Chris holds a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Fraud Examiner in the state of Pennsylvania.
