CBIZ CMF Adds Depth to Financial Consulting and Executive Search Practice

PHILADELPHIA, PA, January 12, 2018 — CBIZ CMF, LLC, private equity’s preferred operating partner for finance and financial leadership, today announced that three professionals have joined the firm, supporting CBIZ CMF’s strategic expansion and ability to serve private equity funds nationally.

Christopher Beyer, CPA has joined as Director, Advisory, Dennis Dowd, CPA has joined as Director, Advisory, and Joy D’Amore has joined as Director, Executive Search.

Christopher Beyer Named Director

Christopher brings more than more than 8 years of experience in public accounting and capital market transactions. Prior to joining CBIZ CMF, Christopher served as a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ M&A Advisory practice. He has assisted both private equity and corporate development teams with deal strategies, including buy and sell side due diligence. Chris also served with PwC’s FinTech group in London, advising on complex accounting issues and transactions for pre-listed companies.

Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the Virginia Military Institute. He also has certificates from the London School of Economics in corporate finance and developing strategies for competitive advantage. He is a Certified Public Accountant in VA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dennis Dowd Named Director

Dennis brings more than 15 years of experience providing accounting and finance services to both public and privately held companies. His extensive background includes transaction advisory, financial reporting, post-transaction integration services, organization restructuring, and technical accounting.

Prior to joining CBIZ CMF, Dennis was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and managed teams that served large financial sponsors. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Richmond. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Joy D’Amore Named Director of Executive Search

Joy brings more than 20 years of talent acquisition, human resources and executive recruiting experience in dynamic and high-growth sectors, including management consulting, private equity, fintech, digital consulting, innovation consulting, supply chain software, collaborative software, research and e-commerce.

Joy has successfully led talent acquisition, organizational development, executive recruiting and acquisition integration for companies such as H.I.G. Capital and Everest Group. Prior to Joy’s career in talent, she was a Management Consultant for the innovation consulting firm, Synectics, and was a practicing attorney.
