Carmichael Fisher Continues Expansion With Two New Locations in Los Angeles & Zurich

LONDON, March 14, 2017 — International executive search firm Carmichael Fisher has today announced the opening of two new offices in Los Angeles and Zurich. The Los Angeles location is a direct response to growing client demand in the U.S. market and will be dedicated to providing bespoke recruitment solutions inclusive of search, talent mapping and competitor analysis to Carmichael Fisher’s clients in the United States. Carmichael Fisher is already known for its work with US multinationals in EMEA, but the establishment of an office in Los Angeles underscores the company’s commitment to service clients locally.

The new office is strategically located on Santa Monica Boulevard, one of the largest business districts in Los Angeles that plays host to many well-known global organisations. Los Angeles has one of the most diversified economies, with established industry clusters ranging from aerospace, entertainment, and fashion to biomedical services, consumer products, finance and technology many of which Carmichael Fisher focusses on.

The new office will be led by Justin Hobday, supported locally by two Regional Directors, new hire Kimberley Rice and Ciara Kelleher who transfers across from the EMEA headquarters in London.

Kimberley Rice is no stranger to the industry and comes with over 25 years’ experience in executive search, having managed searches for companies across the US, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. She has extensive knowledge in the Life Sciences sector having conducted senior and board-level assignments for organisations ranging from large multinationals to SMEs and early stage companies and will report to Anke Janssen who leads the firm’s Life Sciences Practice globally.

Ciara Kelleher is one of the firm’s most experienced consultants and her move from London to Los Angeles signifies the importance placed by the firm on building the local US capability in order to effectively service all of the sectors that they serve. Ciara has extensive experience in executive search within Industrial Manufacturing, both in corporate and entrepreneurial environments and will lead the firm’s Industry & Manufacturing focus in North America, reporting to Scott MacRae who leads the firm’s Industry & Manufacturing Practice globally.

The Zurich office is the firm’s seventh EMEA location and further cements the commitment to a single European proposition that allows a seamless focus to conduct cross-border, pan-European work for clients to identify and attract candidates from an international talent pool.
