Bryant Group Selected to Recruit the Next Vice President of Philanthropy for the Confluence Health Foundation

Dallas-based executive search and talent development firm Bryant Group has been selected to recruit the next Vice President of Philanthropy for the Confluence Health Foundation. Chris Bingley, president, and Sarah Hempen, vice president of search, are spearheading the assignment for the search firm.

The vice president of Philanthropy will lead the philanthropic effort for Confluence Health, which includes two hospital campuses and a medical clinics group.

Reporting to the chief executive officer of Confluence Health and the Confluence Health Foundation trustees, the vice president of philanthropy has direct responsibility for working with boards, managing a high-level donor portfolio and generating financial resources in support of key initiatives. The successful candidate will actively engage senior leadership, board members, clinicians and other key stakeholders in the philanthropic process.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven ability to create, guide and lead vision.
  • Exhibited ability to effectively create a fundraising strategic plan and operation.
  • Ability to deliver financial results for areas of accountability.
  • Proven success in asking for and closing major gifts and building and maintaining long-term relationships with major donors, foundations and corporations.
  • Proven leadership ability to effectively manage and supervise staff and boards in complex and matrix structured organizations.
  • Passion for excellence in healthcare and the overall health of people in the local community.
