Bridge Partners Appoints Alex Sardar as Executive Director for The SEEP Network

SEEP Network  was founded in 1985. The organization’s vision is to promote markets that create opportunities for all people to engage and prosper. Today, with members active in 160+ countries worldwide, the once small group of NGOs is now a global network of diverse organizational types and geographies.

In his new role as Executive Director, Alex will guide a team to drive the success of SEEP’s mission by leading and delivering on the current strategic objectives and setting those for the future.

He joins SEEP Network from CIVICUS, where he served as Chief Incubation Officer, providing strategic planning and donor management support. Alex has a background in grassroots organizing and civil society engagement. He led the Armenian National Committee Western Region, a grassroots human rights organization based in the United States. He also worked at Counterpart, where he worked with local civil society groups from Honduras to Afghanistan, from Georgia to Egypt and Senegal to build the next generation of civil and political leaders globally. Alex speaks Farsi, German, Armenian, English and Spanish.

Alex earned his Master’s degree in International Relations from American University School of International Service and his Bachelors degrees from the University of California at Berkely. He is a current candidate for a Doctorate in Education.
