Atlantic Lottery appoints Jamie Davison, Vice President, Digital Gaming & Innovation

Halifax, Canada, January 12, 2017 — Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette is pleased to have assisted Atlantic Lottery with the appointment of Jamie Davison as its new Vice President, Digital Gaming & Innovation.

“Jamie’s executive leadership, marketing experience in building strategies for digital and e-Commerce platforms for a multitude of major brands, as well as his entrepreneurial passion and proven experience will add great value to Atlantic Lottery,” says Jim Porter, Chief Operating Officer of Atlantic Lottery.

An entrepreneur by nature, Jamie was the owner and founder of Modern Media, a digital marketing agency, which he started and ran for 11 years until its recent sale to Hawk Communications. Prior to starting up Modern Media, Jamie was one of the three original founders of Extreme Group, holding the role of President of Extreme Interactive, growing the digital side of the business to become one of the leading digital agencies in the region at the time.  He has also held E-commerce and product development leadership roles at Clearwater Fine Foods, where he launched one of Canada’s first E-commerce sites and created numerous new products including the invention of the formed scallop.

I’m really excited about the opportunity to work with Atlantic Lottery. It is a forty year old corporation that, like many organizations, is facing unprecedented change. Atlantic Lottery is embracing the need to evolve and change. It’s investing and focusing on innovation, new products for new players, new platforms, new games and an overall customer centric approach. I’m pleased and proud to be part of a team that will help ensure the continual evolution of this great organization that is so vital to this region.

Mr. Davison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Acadia University and has been an active member of the community with organizations such as the Arthritis Society and the Canadian Progress Club and he has served on advisory boards at Acadia University and Irving Consumer Products.
