Arrowstream and Tailwind Capital appoint seasoned executive, Jeffrey Stone, as CEO

(March 22, 2021) Arrowstream, the leader in supply chain management software for the foodservice industry and recently acquired by Tailwind Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, has appointed Jeffrey Stone as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. The Company’s innovative solutions address mission-critical challenges in brand protection, supply monitoring, profitability optimization, and sales growth enablement across the foodservice supply chain, leveraging a single industry-wide data platform to provide unprecedented levels of transparency, control, and actionable insight.

Tailwind plans to invest heavily in ArrowStream to continue the development of its innovative products and further increase market share growth in foodservice segments where technology adoption is growing quickly. The supply chain disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic emphasized the criticality of ArrowStream’s technology, allowing its customers to gain necessary product and inventory visibility, reduce supply chain costs, and maintain brand quality.

Stone joins Arrowstream as a seasoned CEO and Board Member having spent over five years at Compeat Restaurant Management Software. He was the Executive Chairman and Board member at Intygral and the CEO of MarketTools. Prior to that, he was the CEO and President of Tiburon (now TriTech Software Systems) and led execution assignments including M&A, leveraged buyouts, asset purchases/divestitures, public offerings, and capital markets transactions in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Currently, Stone serves as Lead Board Member at PlanHub and Board Member at Resman Property Management Software.

Stone holds an MBA in Finance, Strategic Management and Marketing from The University of Chicago – Booth School of Business and his BS in Hospitality Administration and Management from the University of New Hampshire – Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
