Allegis Partners Studies Value of Chief Human Resource Officers Serving on Corporate Boards of Directors

NEW YORK, December 10, 2015 — Allegis Partners, the global executive search firm, today released a study evaluating the value of including Chief Human Resource Officers (CHROs) on corporate Boards of Directors. The study, completed in partnership with Hodge Partners and the National Academy of Human Resources, incorporates feedback from a diverse group of corporate board members and human resource executives.

The study investigates why and when Boards have decided to appoint senior human resource professionals. Some situations include:

  • The need for a comprehensive talent strategy
  • Demanding executive compensation matters, including implementing major overhauls to executive compensation plans or integrating compensation plans after acquisitions
