(Jan. 11, 2021) Agero (formerly Cross Country Automotive Services), a $1B+ provider of next-gen driver assistance services, has appointed Monique Bonner and Mark Benjamin to the Agero Advisory Board.
MONIQUE BONNER – AGERO ADVISORY BOARD
Monique Bonner is a global marketing executive who is passionate about building brands, customer-centric marketing, driving strategic transformations, and motivating teams to exceptional performance. Ms. Bonner is currently Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at Akamai, where she is dually focused on driving growth and operational excellence. She leads Akamai’s marketing efforts globally including brand, communications, field, and digital marketing, as well as the company’s sales and services training and enablement programs.
Prior to Akamai, Ms. Bonner spent 16 years at Dell Technologies in a variety of roles including sales, operations, strategy, and marketing. She led the company’s first global brand strategy work and designed and developed our digital innovation roadmap for marketing. She was also based in Europe for seven years.
Ms. Bonner also serves on the Boards of Directors for 8×8, the Akamai Foundation, and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and a Master of Business from the University of Michigan. On behalf of the hard work and efforts of the entire Marketing team at Akamai she was honored to accept the 2018 Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council CMO of the Year.
MARK BENJAMIN – AGERO ADVISORY BOARD
Mark Benjamin is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN). With extensive experience serving technology markets, Mr. Benjamin has a proven track record of advancing growth initiatives related to cloud, SaaS, mobile, big data, and IoT solutions.
Prior to joining Nuance, Mr. Benjamine served as president and chief operating officer of NCR Corporation, where he oversaw sales, solutions management, business and product development, services, and supply chain operations. Before that, he spent more than 20 years holding various leadership appointments at ADP, including president of global enterprise solutions, where he led a team of 20,000 employees and managed a multi‑billion‑dollar portfolio across more than 100 countries. Mr. Benjamin holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami.
