AGB Search Welcomes Matthew Kilcoyne As Principal

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 11, 2023 – AGB Search, a national leader in higher education executive search, has announced the appointment of Matthew Kilcoyne as the firm’s newest principal. Kilcoyne brings extensive higher education executive search experience to the firm, having served as consultant, speaker and panelist in the field for over 20 years.

Kilcoyne’s executive search experience has been oriented to president, vice president and dean searches for private and public institutions. He focuses on all aspects of the search process, including search committee and board of trustees relations, institutional assessment, candidate recruitment and due diligence and transition assistance.

An alumnus of Georgetown University, Kilcoyne has served as a speaker and panelist for a number of conferences and workshops, including the American Council of Education’s Fellows program and Advancing to the Presidency workshop, the American Association of State College & Universities’ Communications Conference for Senior Professionals and the Association of Catholic College & Universities’ Aspiring Presidents workshop. He is a member of the board of directors for Theater Delta, which uses interactive theater to foster dialogue and implement palpable change in the education, medical and nonprofit communities.
