Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Selected by The University of Arizona for Chair, Advanced Nursing Practice and Science Search

Jennifer Muller, Managing Partner, will be leading the search.

The University of Arizona seeks a visionary and dynamic leader as the Chair of the Advanced Nursing Practice and Science (ANPS) in the College of Nursing, currently ranked #19 in NIH funding and #19 for DNP programs in the U.S. The next Chair of ANPS will collaborate closely with an enthusiastic Dean and a dedicated team of faculty and staff to propel the College’s innovative research and educational initiatives to reach their goal of top 10 in national rankings. Reporting to the Dean, the Chair plays a pivotal role in advancing the division’s mission and vision and will oversee the division’s budget, resources, and academic programs. Key aspects of this role include conducting a robust program of extramurally funded research, mentoring diverse faculty and staff to foster their professional growth, and ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment at the number one nursing school in Arizona. This position is expected to be appointed at 1.0 with .50 FTE assigned to the administrative role of chair. The remaining FTE assignment will focus on research and service. Opportunities are available for teaching in the PhD program and mentoring pre-doctoral, post-doctoral and junior faculty.
