Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Selected by North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T) for Chief Information Security Officer Search

This position is an exceptional opportunity at a strong and growing R2 high research activity institution poised to become an R1 very high research activity institution. The successful candidate has significant leadership experience in information security in a higher education setting. The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) leads campus efforts to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the university’s information resources. The CISO works with the CIO, Deputy CIO, and other leaders to establish and implement effective information security policies and standards, maintain an efficient, reliable, and secure network, and manage risk associated with information resources. The CISO is responsible for security operations, incident response, compliance, and security awareness training.
