Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) selected by North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University for Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering Search

(September 29, 2026, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, has been selected to recruit the next Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T).  Jennifer Muller, Managing Partner, will be leading the search.

The next Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECEN) will play a central role in advancing the department’s academic and research priorities, identifying emerging areas in electrical and computer engineering and using them to inform faculty recruitment, program and curriculum development, research growth, and industry engagement.  Reporting to Dean Stephanie Luster-Teasley Pass, the Chair will join a College leadership team committed to supporting new ideas, identifying resources, and helping departments move strategic priorities forward.  ECEN is one of the College’s largest departments, with approximately 21 full-time faculty and five professional staff serving 575 students across bachelor’s programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering and master’s and doctoral programs in Electrical Engineering. The Chair serves as the department’s academic leader and chief administrative officer while maintaining an active role in research and teaching.
