Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) selected by Larkin University College of Pharmacy for Chair, Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences Search

(October 14, 2026, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, has been selected to recruit the next Chair of the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at Larkin University.  Jennifer Muller, Managing Partner, will be leading the search.

The Chair of the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences in the College of Pharmacy will help shape the continued growth of the Department. This is a high-impact leadership role within a fully accredited (ACPE) program, with broad influence across faculty development, curriculum, research and scholarship, experiential education, clinical practice, and external partnerships. The Chair will work closely with senior academic leadership and have a visible role in advancing the direction of the Department and College.

Reporting directly to the Dean and serving on the College of Pharmacy leadership team, the Chair will lead and mentor faculty across clinical pharmacy practice and the social and administrative sciences. The position offers considerable flexibility to maintain engagement in research, clinical practice, and teaching, with protected clinical and/or research time, flexibility in teaching load, internal funding opportunities, and administrative support.

The College of Pharmacy is organized into two academic departments: Clinical and Administrative Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The College continues to expand its academic portfolio, with an MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Social Administrative Sciences planned for Fall 2027, along with future certificate and micro-credential offerings. Research and scholarship are central to the College’s continued development, supported by research facilities, internal funding opportunities, student research programs, and an annual research symposium. The College emphasizes teaching, scholarship, service, innovation, and learner-centered education while preparing students for current and emerging pharmacy practice settings.

Larkin University is located in Miami Gardens near the border of Miami-Dade and Broward counties, provides easy access to communities throughout both the Miami and Fort Lauderdale metropolitan areas. Many University employees live in Broward County, with additional residential options extending north into Palm Beach County.
