Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at Central Lakes College

(June 2023, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, announced the successful placement of Cheryl Norman securing the role as vice president of academic and student affairs at Central Lakes College.

Dr. Norman joins Central Lakes College from University of Northwestern (UNW), St. Paul where she was the dean of assessment and academic administration. In this role, Dr. Norman provided leadership, coordination, and oversight of institution-wide assessment and offices within academic affairs. Prior to UNW, Dr. Norman served at Minneapolis Community & Technical College as an assessment director, academic liaison, and customized training and workforce development representative. From her experience in these positions, she is an expert in customized training, assessment coordination, and student support services. Dr. Norman holds an M.S. in education at Shenandoah University and an Ed.D. in higher education administration at St. Cloud State University.
