Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Master of Science in Health Informatics Program Director at Bryant University

(March 2023, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, announced the successful placement of Dr. Nafees Qamar securing the role as Program Director, MS in Health Informatics at Bryant University

Prior to joining Bryant University, Dr. Qamar was Director of Health Informatics & Assistant Professor at Governors State University and worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Biomedical and Health Informatics program, Department of Computer Science at State University of New York at Oswego. He has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Project Manager at United Nations University, and Academic Researcher at Vanderbilt University, Nashville. He holds an honorary Research Fellow position at Southwest University, China. Dr. Qamar’s research and teaching interests include health informatics, and software and data security. Dr. Qamar holds a Ph.D. in computer science from University Grenoble Alpes, France.
