Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate Student Affairs at North Carolina A&T University

Davis, securing the role as Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate Student Affairs at North Carolina A&T University.

With over 40 years of experience in teaching and college-level administration, Dr. Davis brings a wealth of experience and a student-centered approach to the role of Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate Student Affairs. Starting in 2015, he led the development and transformation of the Office of Undergraduate Studies, later renamed the Office of Academic Student Affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences at Howard University. His expertise spans all aspects of organizational administration, having served in roles as associate dean, department chair and director of undergraduate studies.

With award-winning faculty, intensive research programs, and community-focused initiatives, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is the nation’s largest historically black university with a fall 2023 enrollment of 13,885 students.  N.C. A&T is an 1890 public land-grant, doctoral higher education institution and one of 17 constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina System. N.C. A&T is a strong and growing doctoral, research university currently designated “R2 / high-research activity” in the Carnegie Classification for Institutions of Higher Education.
