Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Founding Director of Nursing Program at Central Michigan University

(February 2024, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Nelda Martinez securing the role as the Founding Director of the B.S. in Nursing Program at Central Michigan University.

Nelda Martinez has decades of experience leading the accreditation and advancement of university nursing programs across the nation. Dr. Martinez joins CMU from Tarleton State University, where she has served as the Associate Dean of Evaluation, Accreditation, and Student Success in the School of Nursing. Previous credentials include the Director of Program Outcomes and Accreditation at the University of Texas Rio Grande School of Nursing and Professor and Dean of the School of Nursing at the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Ohio State University and an M.S.N. in Community Health and Rehabilitation Nursing from Wright State University.
