Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Founding Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Lawrence Technological University

(January 2024, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Mary Schutten securing the role as the Founding Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Lawrence Technological University (LTU).

 

Dr. Schutten is a strategic academic leader with a proven track record of transformative leadership and innovation in higher education and healthcare administration. Most recently, Schutten served as Executive Vice President and Provost at Central Michigan University. Previous credentials include Dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences at San Jose State University and Associate Dean for Students and Curriculum at Grand Valley State University. She holds a Doctor in Physical Education from Indiana University along with an M.A. in Physical Education from California State University at Long Beach.
