Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Bay de Noc Community College

(May 6, 2025, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Dr. Patrick Reinhard the role as Dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Bay de Noc Community College.

Dr. Patrick Reinhard comes to Bay College from San Joaquin Valley College in California, where he served as dean of the nursing program. Reinhard, a native of Michigan, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in nursing from Stanbridge University in California. He has a master’s degree in health administration and a doctorate from Central Michigan University. Dr. Reinhard is playing a key role in continuing efforts to build on the successes of this program that produces in-demand nurses and health care workers. He also is navigating the college’s efforts to resume its practical nursing programs at its campuses in Escanaba and Iron Mountain. The Dean reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs & Educational Equity and supervises the Academic Affairs Coordinator, Allied Health Student Success Managers, Allied Health Simulation and Clinical Coordinator, Simulation/Lab Technicians, and all full-time and part-time faculty within the division.

Bay College was established in 1962 and is a rural, public community college with two campuses located in south-central Upper Peninsula- Escanaba and Iron Mountain, Michigan.
