Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University

(January 29, 2026, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Dr. Darryl D. Wright-Greene, securing the role as the next Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

Dr. Darryl D. Wright-Greene has been chosen to serve in this senior leadership role in N.C. A&T’s Division of Human Resources and will also serve as a member of Chancellor James R. Martin II’s cabinet. Dr. Wright-Greene received his PhD in Higher Education Administration from Liberty University. He was recently Chief Human Resources and Talent Officer at St. Petersburg College in Florida, where he led all areas of human resources for approximately 2,700 employees. Prior to joining SPC, he held progressive leadership roles including Executive Director of HR and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Dallas College Richland Campus, and Senior Director of HR Systems at its central office. Wright-Greene will oversee human resources initiatives for a university with more than 2,800 permanent and temporary faculty, staff and student personnel and manage a staff of more than 30 human resource professionals and specialists. The Division of Human Resources is housed within the university’s Office of Business and Finance.
