Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Associate Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Services at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University

(June 2023, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, announced the successful placement of Dr. Meng Zhao securing the role as Associate Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Services at the North Carolina A&T State University.

Dr. Meng Zhao, Ph.D., RN has been a member of the Nursing Education, Research, and Practice community for over 22 years. Having earned her Ph.D. degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she has extensive nursing education and research experience. Dr. Zhao joins North Carolina A&T from the Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi College of Nursing and Health Sciences, where she has served as the Department Chair of Population Health, Health Systems Leadership for over 2 years. Additionally, as the Founding Co-Director of the Spatial Health Science Laboratory at the Conrad Blucher Institute at Texas A&M, Corpus Christi. She is actively involved in cancer research, senior community health research, and health disparity research. Dr. Zhao is the associate editor of the Global Journal of Health Science, and she is also a reviewer of several nursing and health science journals.
