Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences

(December 2023, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Victoria Haynes securing the role as Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) at the University of North Dakota (UND).

Long interested in DEI efforts as they apply to health education, Dr. Haynes brings over 16 years of institutional experience with DEI to UND. She has extensive expertise in promoting meaningful dialogue on topics related to race, equity, and bias. She has also moderated multiple panels and provided customized workshops on cultural awareness and diversity issues in higher education and healthcare. Dr. Haynes’s healthcare experience includes critical care, retail health, school-based clinics, urgent care, public health, home health, internal medicine, and psychiatry. Dr. Haynes earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a post-doctoral certificate in multicultural education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She also earned a certificate in psychiatric mental health nursing from the University of New Hampshire and founded Haynes Health & Wellness, LLC, a psychiatric mental health practice.
