Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES) Places Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research and Strategic Effectiveness at Massachusetts College of Art and Design

(August 2023, WEST HARTFORD, CT) Following a national search, Academic Career & Executive Search (ACES), a leading higher education focused executive search firm, announced the successful placement of Junelyn Peeples securing the role as assistant vice president for institutional research and strategic effectiveness at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt).

Dr. Peeples has dedicated over 25 years to strengthening organizational efficacy and advocating for educational access for marginalized, underserved, and underrepresented populations in higher education. As both a seasoned administrator and a long-time strategy consultant, she is immensely skilled in leading data analytics, assessment, evaluation studies, and strategic planning. She recently served as the president of the board of directors for the Association for Institutional Research from 2021 to 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Peeples was the inaugural vice provost for institutional effectiveness and strategic analytics at San José State University, the director of assessment and institutional research at Scripps College, and the director of evaluation, assessment, and institutional research at the University of California, Riverside. She holds both a Ph.D. and an M.A. in education from Claremont Graduate University and an M.A. in sociology from California State University, Fullerton.
