Abercrombie & Fitch Appoint Chief HR Officer from Search by Hanold Associates

CHICAGO (Jan. 20, 2021) ― Abercrombie & Fitch Co., a leading global apparel and accessory retailer, has appointed Holly May as Chief Human Resources Officer. Hanold Associates’ Lisa Butkus, Keri Gavin and Jason Hanold led the search for this role based in the Columbus, Ohio area.

May comes to A&F from Starbucks where she served as SVP, Global Total Rewards & Service Delivery. Reporting directly to CEO Fran Horowitz at A&F, May will be a key member of the executive leadership team and responsible for all aspects of Human Resources throughout the company. Leading an HR team of more than 160, she will develop, implement and improve upon human capital programs to support the company’s continued transformation into a global, digitally enabled retail powerhouse that remains a great and inclusive place to work.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is a leader in retail and a staple of American fashion and culture. The company was originally founded in 1892 in Manhattan, New York, by David Abercrombie. Eventually partnering with the brand’s number-one customer, Ezra Fitch, the company’s product offerings focused on high-end outdoor apparel and recreational sporting goods.
