Ken Vancini

Founder & CEO

Prior to Innova, Ken Vancini founded ZRG Partners. Along with his partner Larry Hartmann, ZRG unlocked the formula for scaling a search firm. Under their leadership, ZRG became recognized as a global leader in executive search, realizing a 30% compounded annual growth rate from inception.

Ken established streamlined operating best practices in all ZRG locations. He led global research, recruitment, accounting, information technology and marketing from his Boston office. Ken identified, attracted and retained some of the best search partners from around the globe. During his 16 years running ZRG, Ken personally led searches for his clients in 22 countries on five continents.

Ken helped conceptualize, create, and launch the proprietary Z-Score process, a program targeting specific culture and talent for executive roles.

Today ZRG has offices in 26 cities and 9 countries around the globe with wholly owned subsidiaries in Switzerland, the Netherlands, China and Brazil. Ken successfully exited ZRG in 2015 after the firm received an equity investment.

Ken completed a program in Leading Professional Services Firms at Harvard Business School. He is a graduate of Plymouth State University, where he has the distinction of being part of the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame for football.
